Five Hats

The Five Hats event series invites a number of speakers to give short presentations on different elements of our current exhibition, this will be followed by an audience Q & A.

For the first of these events we will be looking at Simon Martin’s exhibition and considering how the film Louis Ghost Chair can be read considering Berger’s ‘ways of seeing’, the contemporary influence of Donald Judd, speculative realism and object-oriented-ontology.

Speakers include: Dr Sarah Smith, Lecturer in Historical and Critical Studies at Glasgow School of Art, artist Rachel Adams and Professor of Philosophy at Dundee University, James Williams.
